“Inner Equilibrium”

Size: 50/50 cm. – Framed

Have you ever thought of the two different halves which live in balance in each one of us? How solid or fragile can the ties between them be? and how these halves influence over our nature?
Speculating on these questions drove me to the idea of this painting. I looked for bolder image and thought the Impasto technique would re-create well the depth and complexity of the two opposed parts. The metallic silver ink used for the pins makes them real-looking and in the same time strong enough to keep the balance.
