“Poppies II”

Commissioned – Sold in Spain
A friend from Spain asked me to make two paintings of Poppies for her as she loves these flowers. We were staying in a bar in Castalla, Spain and there was a huge painting of Poppies on the wall. She couldn’t take her eyes off the painting and asked me if I can make something for their house in Spain. The painting on the wall was quite big showing a whole bunch of Poppies but the thing I didn’t like was the raw blue background which somehow killed the brightness of the flowers and didn’t go well with the greenery of the stems and leaves. Poppies I and Poppies II are my version which I created for their wonderful house (the picture below shows both paintings in their lounge).

She is so meticulous in everything she does. I would certainly recommend you either buy her paintings that she has already done or commission her to do a special piece for you – like she did for me. It was a pleasure to make them for you as you left me the opportunity to choose composition, colors etc which is the best option for every artist. Both paintings look great in your house on the photo and as far as I know you took them on your move to your new house. Thank you for the recommendation it means a lot when it is made from you.

Yes the site underwent full software and design update, there are few things that need finishing and some other projects to add. The shop needs complete redesign too but with the time this will be done as well. I am glad you like the new version. I’ll have a look at your new site too.
